Changing behaviour has been the focus of my extensive career. From creating and delivering successful PR and communications campaigns, to facilitating light bulb moments through coaching, DISC profiling and team development.
When redundancy coincided with a breast cancer diagnosis in 2014 I took the opportunity to set up Red Clematis Coaching to focus on what I love doing – helping individuals and teams learn, develop and grow in confidence. During my career within a number of large organisations, I experienced at first hand the impact of poor leadership and communication on team productivity and motivation. I’ve always invested time and energy in developing my own teams, and supporting colleagues, and learnt what a difference tools such as coaching and mentoring can make.
Managing Director, Red Clematis
I believe learning should be fun as well as practical. Clients and colleagues value my calm, encouraging approach and ability to put them at ease quickly. I love seeing clients grow in confidence and competence and helping them celebrate their achievements as they experience the difference working with me makes to them or the way they lead and manage their team.
I’ve worked with agencies throughout my career and particularly enjoy supporting the Marketing and Communications sector.
The clematis is an intelligent plant that can climb over the obstacles in its path. It represents my vision for the business - providing strong roots and acting as the trellis for my clients, to support them as they grow in confidence, overcome challenges and climb upwards to realise their true potential.
I am a qualified coach with a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from the Coaching Academy and undertake regular continual professional development.
